After an amazing and powerful weekend retreat last year, we’re heading back to this special corner of England. Join us for a blissful all-inclusive weekend of release and restoration under a full moon in the magical town of Glastonbury.
Imagine being able to release past hurts, painful attachments or thought patterns. To be able to let go of anything not serving you and your higher purpose. Imagine feeling empowered to reclaim all the pieces of yourself that may have been lost along the way, making space for the things you want to call in.
The full moon is a powerful time to reflect on what’s been and gone, and shake off whatever you feel is holding you back. If you’ve ever felt or been told you’re not enough, powerless to move on from painful events or felt stuck and blocked in your life, this is the retreat for you.
What to expect…
Where we’ll stay
For 3 days and 2 nights, we’ll be returning to the truly magical Lower Coxbridge House, nestled in the Filled with hardwood floors and flooded with light, the house feels warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for retreat. Set in secluded grounds with paddocks and orchards, it has views of unspoilt countryside from every window, including a beautiful view of the Glastonbury Tor. We have a spacious yoga space as well as a fully equipped kitchen complete with Aga, fire place, hammocks, hot tub and a sunken bathtub in the master bedroom.
Olga, our retreat chef, will again be serving us breakfast, lunch and dinner, made from organic, locally sourced ingredients and filled with love. Meals you can expect will include things like seasonal fruit salads and healthy oats, tagines and soups and of course, delicious desserts. All meals are vegetarian but vegans can be catered for, too. Allergies and intolerances can also be accommodated, just make sure you let me know ahead of time.
Glastonbury is considered to be the isle of Avalon from Arthurian legend by some and the resting place of the holy grail by others. It’s also considered the heart chakra with strong feminine energy, making it an important place for those with interest in the divine feminine. The town itself is colourful and full of interesting characters and cafes. It’s just a 30 minute walk or a few minutes drive from the house and only 50 minutes from Bristol and Bath. It’s also easily reachable by rail and road from London.
After settling in on arrival day, you will be led through a sequence of asana followed by yoga nidra (a deep, guided meditation) designed to allow you to fully arrive into the retreat and set the scene for the weekend. Both morning classes will be dynamic Hatha Flow to stoke the inner fire and create space in the body. Morning practice will be allowed by pranayama (breathing techniques) to really bring your attention to the present moment. All equipment is provided and all levels are welcome.
Saturday will be all about identifying and releasing anything that no longer serves you or your life. Following a yin yoga practice, we’ll move into a workshop designed to start the process of letting go using a combination of mantra singing, visualisation meditation and journalling.
