Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice designed to release tension from the body and let the mind rest. Because it takes place in a conscious sleep state, it is also known as the ‘yogic sleep’ and it’s been said that one hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to three hours of sleep. It works on a deep level, allowing you to let go of tension on the physical, mental and emotional levels. Yoga Nidra balances the nervous system and has been shown to reduce stress, help with symptoms of anxiety, boosts the immune system and induces sleep.

We will start with a short and gentle asana practice, along with some soothing pranayama before beginning the Yoga Nidra practice. Afterwards, you’ll feel deeply relaxed and able to enjoy a restful sleep, ready for a fresh start on Monday.
